China Here We Come!

Well, we were off to China this morning at 6:45 am. Got to the airport and all checked in by 7:30 and waited for our flight to Chicago at 9:34 am. Have you heard of the movie "The Terminal"? Once we reached Chicago we found that there was mechanical trouble and we ended up waiting for our flight to board until 6 pm (it was supposed to leave at 12:40). Not much to do but walk and eat, and unfortunately, the area at our gate was incredibly hot. Not fun at all but we enjoyed each other's company and I have to say that Faith did wonderfully. Well we boarded the plane, delaying to be the last ones on so that Faith would not have to sit too long. We were very fortunate that the people sitting next to us were happy to trade seats, so we all got seats together! That was very nice since the #3 engine had trouble with a circuit breaker going off and we were unable to take off and ended up taxiing back to the gate for repairs. We waited another 3 hours (and some odd minutes) until we could take off. So much for boarding the plan last so that Faith wouldn't have to sit too long! Well, the flight itself went well and Faith slept most of the flight. We tried to wake her during 2 meals but no go. It was night in Ohio and time to sleep! So, as you can see, it is 1 am on August 4th here in Beijing and we are not in bed yet. I am hoping for a few hours of sleep and a good breakfast before off to go sight seeing. We leave Sunday evening (Wow! That's tomorrow!) to go to Molly's province and we meet here on Monday! Deep breath, deep breath!
